Dear Dr. Edwards,
The Indiana WIC Program is proud to incorporate Carrie and Larry, The Tooth-Tickling Fairies into its nutrition education curriculum! The Program introduced oral health education training this past year so that staff can better incorporate oral development, brushing and nutrition. Our personal children read this book prior to including it in our curriculum, and it was a huge success! Carrie and Larry became fun motivators for brushing and nutritious eating.
All of the images are culturally appropriate and display excellent child/parent or guardian interactions. I purchased this book for my daughter, and I hope you will too.
Make dental health fun at home in Spanish with Clara y Martin Los Hadas que Hacen Cosquillas a los Dientes!
Carrie and Larry The Tooth-Tickling Fairies is offered in both English and Spanish, printed in the USA, and can be customized for your own early prevention and nutrition program. Books are also available for single purchase.
This is a story written in rhyme that walks you and your child through the experience of getting a dental cleaning and x-rays at the dentist. Clara y Martin will also share the dental experience in Spanish!
This is a story that explains what happens when your child has a cavity and needs to get their teeth fixed. It covers what a parent or caregiver can say to their child to help ease their fear. Carrie and Larry will show you all the "tools" or "instruments" with using your five senses. This story will be told by Clara y Martin in Spanish as well!
